We are looking for a dynamic Clinical Research Team Leader to join us. If you are a nurse,
midwife or Allied Health Professional and have experience in clinical research looking for a new direction that will shape your leadership and spark your research interest, then look no further,this could be the job for you!

Based across two acute sites in Huddersfield and Halifax as well as some community sites, we
are one of few NHS organisations recognised as an “investor in people” and work to involve,
support and develop staff within our organisation.

We work with commercial, non-commercial and academic research partners in testing not only the best treatment options for our patients and service users but also improving our services

In this important role we are looking for someone who possesses current leadership and
management skills within clinical research and has experience of delivering and co-ordinating
commercial research. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build working relationships, negotiate, network and motivate staff.The successful candidate will have a professional manner, a flexible approach to work and be able to drive enthusiasm within a team. They will have experience in managing change successfully, develop teams in maximising their potential and abilities. Applicants will be enthusiastic learners who demonstrate commitment to continued professional development for themselves and their team. Applicants must demonstrate a keen and active interest in health research and keep abreast of national developments which they can effectively disseminate and identify opportunities for the Trust.

A comprehensive induction and training program will be provided, as well as ongoing support.

The post is for 37.5 hours per week based on a permanent contract.

You may be required to undertake a DBS. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and you will be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment.
